Greener Green Beans
One of the most common vacation activities, it seems, is eating. And let's be honest, it's one of the most enjoyable! Last week while visiting my parents and sister's family (photos forthcoming) was no exception. Katie made the yummiest green beans. She likes them crisp-tender (down with mushy veggies!), which means she stopped cooking them when they were still bright green.
I love 'em that way. The salt, butter, and garlic made them perfect. But they weren't quite bright enough for my taste.
So I added a little more vibrance with Lightroom.
I also adjusted the exposure, brightness, contrast, and sharpness; bumped the yellows down, the blues up, and gave them an all-around boost. My Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II made the shallow depth-of-field a snap.
